Student Life

One of the benefits of a small school such as Richard Winn is that students not only get to showcase their athletic skills on the fields and courts, but they also have the opportunity to get involved in numerous extracurricular activities and academic honor societies. Students in the lower and middle grades have a chance to participate in the SCISA-sponsored Spelling Bee and Literary Meet. Middle schoolers may also qualify for one or more of the following middle school academic teams: Quiz Bowl, Math Team, and Champions of the Environment. Selected high school students can be active participants in the Quiz Bowl Team, Math Team, and Mock Trial Team. Other clubs and organizations available for the middle and high school grades include Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Beta Club (Jr. and Sr.), Student Government, Rotary Interact Club, Aerie (yearbook) staff -grades 11 & 12, and Chapter Blasters Book Club.
