Dear Parents,
 
Please be on the look out for Athletic Banquet tickets that will be sent home Wednesday, May 2, 2012, with a student from your family. 
The banquet will be at White Oak Conference Center next Thursday, May 10, 2012; dinner starting at 6:00.
Each family will receive (2) tickets that they can purchase for $10.00 each, with additional tickets available in the main office.
Athletes do not have to pay.
Please try to return unused tickets or money by Monday, May 7, 2012, to the main office (for accurate ordering).
 
   ***  There is a new policy that White Oak has set.  If you do not plan to purchase a meal ticket, but still would like to come to the banquet, there is a $1.00 charge for those in that category.  Please return your unpurchased tickets to the office, with the dollar(s), so we can properly calculate the number of meals that need to be ordered.

P.M. at the Sumter Civic Center. We hope to see lots of fans at
the game supporting our team, our coach, and our school as we
compete for the title of State Champion.

Coach Haltiwanger and the team currently have 30 wins and no
losses this season. Go Eagles! Again, we hope to see you at the

I hope this note finds you and your family doing well. All is fine at school, just busy as everyone works
hard to use each school day wisely between now and our upcoming holidays!
 
Please remember that interim reports for the second grading period will be sent home on Wednesday,
November 16, 2011. If you do not receive a report from all of your children’s teachers, please check with
teachers or the school office immediately. (Exception: Mrs. Linda Grant plans to return to school this
Thursday, November 17. She will send interims home on Thursday.) Interim reports should be signed by
you and returned to school the following day. Your cooperation is appreciated.
 
Students and staff will not attend school on Wednesday, November 23 through Friday, November 25
due to Thanksgiving holidays. I hope this time proves to be special for your family. 
 
We return to school on Monday, November 28. Parents of juniors and seniors are reminded of the
financial aid workshop conducted by the South Carolina Student Loan Association scheduled for that
evening at 6:00 P. M. in the library.
